Finally got to visit the old swing bridge. My first observation was the condition of the trackage. The railbed and ties looked in great shape. I am not sure when this part of the line was discontinued but it looks like a train may have used this part of the line recently. Jumping on the bridge I took a couple shots of the mechanism and down the line everything looked well maintained. Another shot includes an abandoned industry.. wonder what was there. The only activity was a couple kids playing on the decaying platform. Looks like a great bridge to model.
